Spring 2025 Competition
Our 2025 Spring Competition will happen on Sunday, April 13th, 2025!
The contest will take place in-person from 12:30 PM-5:00 PM at Oakton College (Des Plaines Campus: 1600 Golf Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016) on April 13th, 2025.
Who can participate: Our competition is open to girls and nonbinary students comfortable being grouped with girls in high school and below. Competitors will be split into middle and high school divisions, each with different problems and separate prize opportunities.
How it works: During the competition, there will be a 60-minute individual round, a 60-minute team round, and two 10-minute relay rounds. Students will compete with a team of 4 for the team and relay rounds (click here for more details). You can sign up with a team of friends (who you will need to coordinate with beforehand), or we will place you on a team if you don't have one. You can indicate your team status on the signup form.
What to bring: We will be providing snacks, but we advise all competitors to pack a water bottle. Additionally, students will NOT be allowed to use calculators, rulers, protractors, graph paper, or any aids, so each student will only need to bring pencils and erasers for the competition. We will be providing scratch paper.
Contest Day
The competition will be held in room 1606 of Oakton College in Des Plaines (address: 1600 Golf Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016). For parking, park in Lot C for faculty and staff (the gate should be open), and then enter through door 37. A map of the campus can be found here.
Sign-Up
All competitors will need to fill out our signup form at the bottom of this page to compete. If you've pre-formed a team, indicate which team you are on by writing in your team name into the form (Ex: if there is a team of 4 people, we should receive 4 separate forms, each with the same team name written in).
